When we entered the massage room at the Rock Spa in San Diego, Molly the masseuse asked me what nationality I was. I told her that I was half Chinese and half white. She said, “shoot! I knew that I should have trusted my gut feeling. I wanted to say that you were Filipino but you look so Latino! I was so confused!”.
